The violence in Gaza continues. Over 40,000 people have been killed, and an estimated 1.9 million people (90% of the population) have been uprooted from their homes. Most Gazans have no access to food or clean water and live in hazardous circumstances due to airstrikes. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humanitarian access to Gaza is still seriously hampered, increasing the risk of famine and disease outbreaks by the day. Cordaid partner Caritas Jerusalem<\/a> is one of the few humanitarian organisations that can still assist people in Gaza, thanks to their zealous volunteers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cordaid supports Caritas Jerusalem’s activities in various locations in the region with the proceeds of a national fundraising campaign in the Netherlands. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Distribution of clean water and food parcels in the refugee camps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        • Cash assistance for over 4,000 households.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          • Vocational training for unemployed youth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
