Cookie policy

A cookie is a simple, small file that is sent along with the pages of our website and saved by your browser to the hard disk of your computer.

During a subsequent visit to the site, the information stored in the cookie can be sent back to our servers. We use the following types of cookies.

Google Analytics and AdWords

As part of its “Analytics” and “AdWords” service, the United States company, Google, places cookies via our website. We use this service to monitor and receive reports on how visitors use the website. Google can only disclose this information to third parties if it is legally mandated to do so, or if these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We have authorized Google to use the information obtained through Analytics and AdWords for other Google services. The information that Google collates is made as anonymous as possible. We want to stress that your IP address is not provided. The information is sent to the United States, where Google stores it on servers. Google complies with the Safe Harbor principles and is affiliated with the Safe Harbor program of the US Department of Commerce. This implies that an adequate level of protection is afforded to the processing of personal data. These data are stored for a period of up to 50 months.

Social Media

On our website, you will find buttons that make it possible to promote web pages (Like) or share them (Tweet) on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn, Feedburner and Discuss IT. These buttons use pieces of code that also place cookies. We have no influence on this process. To find out what they do with the (personal) data that they process with these cookies, please read the privacy statements of these social networks (which can change regularly).

Website use

With the aid of a session cookie, we can see which elements of the website you have viewed during your visit. This allows us to adapt our services as much as possible to the surfing behaviour of our visitors. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.

Access

You have the right of access to your data, as well as the right to request that corrections are made to it or that it is deleted. For more information about this see our privacy policy page. To preclude abuse, we could ask you to provide adequate proof of identification. If it pertains to access to personal data linked to a cookie, please send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find the cookie in your browser settings.

Enabling and disabling cookies in your browser

You can easily manage whether or not to allow cookies in your web browser. More information on enabling and disabling and deleting cookies can be found in the instructions and/or with the aid of the Help function of your browser.

Deleting tracking cookies placed by third parties
