Gaza and the West Bank

Since the outbreak of violence, Cordaid has been providing emergency relief in Gaza and the West Bank through our network of local partners within Caritas Internationalis and the ACT Alliance.

This video, created by Gazan filmmakers, offers a shocking, raw, and moving glimpse into the lives of people in the refugee camps. It will also give hope by showing how Gazans continue to go out of their way to help one another, even in the darkest times.

WHAT WE DO IN GAZA AND THE WEST BANK

Despite the ongoing violence and limited access, our partners are present in the affected areas and continue to provide clean drinking water, food, medical care, psychosocial support, sanitary facilities, essential hygiene products, prosthetics, information about explosive ordnance, and financial support.

With the proceeds from a successful fundraising campaign in the Netherlands, Cordaid provides relief through DanChurch Aid, Catholic Relief Services, and Caritas Jerusalem.

Aid workers in Gaza risk their lives daily to save others. In the epicentre of devastation, they remain unwavering in their commitment to assisting those in desperate need. As international aid agencies increasingly withdraw due to security concerns and access restrictions, the dedication of local humanitarian staff becomes even more critical. It only highlights the immense responsibility they shoulder.

By channelling the Dutch support, Cordaid helps ensure that resources reach local organisations in Gaza. They have the most profound understanding of the urgent needs and daunting realities on the ground. Together, we uphold human dignity in the face of ongoing, genocidal violence and suffering.
