Social investor Cordaid Investment Management welcomes Hann Verheijen as its new Managing Director as of June 2018. For the majority of his career, Hann has worked in leadership positions at sustainable financial institutions.
Hann joins Cordaid Investment Management (CIM) from Oikocredit, a worldwide cooperative and social investor, where he was a member of the Managing Board and Credit Director. From 2012 to 2016, he was Managing Director at Oikocredit Netherlands. Prior to Oikocredit, Hann held various senior positions at Triodos Bank, one of the world’s leading sustainable banks.
“Hann is perfectly equipped to further expand outreach and impact, especially in fragile areas that are currently underserved in development finance.”
Kees Zevenbergen, CEO Cordaid
“Inclusive finance enhance human dignity”
“I share CIM’s belief that providing access to inclusive finance enhances human dignity”, said Hann. “CIM and its people have been doing outstanding work to improve the quality of life of so many low-income people in the past years. There is perfect base to build on, scale up and strengthen our position as a catalyst in development finance.”
“We are very proud and happy to welcome Hann on board as Managing Director of CIM. The right man at the right time. With his extensive experience and track record, Hann is perfectly equipped to further expand outreach and impact, especially in fragile areas that are currently underserved in development finance. Godspeed Hann!”, said Cordaid CEO Kees Zevenbergen.
“Cordaid also expresses thanks and appreciation to Laure Wessemius-Chibrac, outgoing Managing Director of CIM, for the work done during the last 5 years. Laure has been instrumental in the recent qualitative growth of CIM. She will remain working at CIM until the end of June to ensure a smooth transition in cooperation with Hann. “
