Country Director Ethiopia, Roselyn Akinyi Walender is leaving us, after a 12-year run with Cordaid. It took her from Sudan to the Netherlands and culminated in Ethiopia.

Her team sat down with her for an interview to spotlight her personal journey and legacy within Cordaid. “It was in South Sudan that I could have died many times. I remember almost stepping on a landmine, I missed a cluster bomb by a few inches, and I was kidnapped by a warlord.”
